WHITE WATER RAFTING IN NEW MEXICO
Monday, June 18. Me and our family, daughter, son-in-law and two grands (13 & 10) went to New Mexico River Adventures, 2217 NM-68, Embudo, NM 87531. It is located about 56 miles north of Santa Fe, maybe 16 miles south of Taos.
The folks do an excellent job with equipment, flotation device & helmet, and safety instruction. Kim was our guide and he is superb. He led us through about 7.5-8 miles of rapids and calm stretches on the Rio Grande. We had class 2 and class 3 white water. It was a grand adventure. We chose the 3 hour tour and were worn out at the end. I cannot overstate how much fun it was.
